Choosing the right University from thousands of miles away presents some challenges especially when there are so many outstanding Universities to choose from. However, careful planning and advance research will help you come up with a manageable short list of institutions that match your needs. Every student is different, and it is very important to consider the factors that are important to you both in your education and lifestyle as well.
What are the documents that I need to enclose with my application?
In order for us to submit your application, we require OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED COPIES of documents. They may include:-
- Completed application form .
- The ID page(s) of your passport showing your personal details and passport number.
- Academic record(s) of at least the most recent 2-3 years of study - i.e. list of subjects and results for entire course(s).
- Award certificate for the above course(s)
- Work Experience - References from employers (full-time positions) these should be on company letterhead and show the period you were employed, position, responsibilities, and how well you performed.
- A detailed CV or resume showing your contact details, study, work etc. This is required if you are seeking entry to college or university. Sample format can be downloaded.
- A Bank Draft for the application fee, made out to the institution where you wish to study.
- Any other documents which support your study application.
Step by step procedure
1. Study Planning:
Check out whether you meet the eligibility criteria to study in Australia. This may enable you to plan and define your career goals, and the field in which you would like to pursue higher education in Australia.
2. Course & University Selection:
You may choose a Course in an Institute/University/College once your field of study is identified. You may choose the Institute/University/College of your choice with guidance from AvenuesAbroad.com.
3. Admission Process :
Complete the application form / authorize us to complete it for you, and send certified copies of relevant documents to our representative in your Geographical Location. We will ensure that the application is in order, meets the entry criteria for the desired course, and forward it to the institution with a covering letter explaining your situation. We will follow-up until an Offer of Place is received and forwarded to you.
4. Visa Application Process:
After receiving an "Offer of Admission " you may have to apply for a Pre-Visa Assessment (PVA), the first stage in the application process for a Student Visa. Our representative will assist you through the entire Visa application process. If you are under 18 years of age, you will need a Guardian in Australia, who will be responsible for you. The Australian High Commission in your country will assess your application and issue you the Pre-Visa.
After the PVA and on paying the University fee, the University will forward your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) form to you or your authorized representative. The CoE must then be sent to the Australian High Commission, so that your final visa can be granted.
5. Pre-departure, Arrival & Reception:
When your visa is granted, inform us of your arrival details by completing our Airport Reception & Accommodation Placement Form, if you require these services. A Service Fee applies, and can be paid prior to arrival to AvenuesAbroad.com.
