Limited financial assistance is available for most students coming from abroad. However, some schools may offer scholarships (based on academic merit) specifically for foreign students. However, keep in mind that many people apply for these awards, and scholarships do not cover the entire cost of the study. Students at the graduate level may qualify for assistantships (assisting professors in teaching and research) based on their academic abilities.
