GMAT Test Date And Time & Scheduling Process
1. The Regional Registration Center will try to schedule your first-choice test date, then your second-, third-, fourth-, or fifth-choice test date in chronological order at your first-choice test center.
2. If you select a second-choice test center and the RRC is unable to schedule you at your first-choice center, the Regional Registration Center will try to schedule your first-choice, then second-, third-, fourth-, or fifth-choice test date at your second-choice test center.
3. If none of the test dates requested is available, the Regional Registration Center will try to schedule you for a test date close to one of your choices.
4. If you have a problem with the appointment scheduled for you, contact your RRC.
Graduate Management Admission Test measures general verbal (English), mathematical and analytical writing skills that are developed over a long period of time.
GMAT scores are used by nearly 1300 graduate management programs throughout the world. GMAT scores are only one predictor of academic performance in the first year of graduate management school. GMAT is a Computer Adaptive Test (CAT) that is available year round at Sylvan Testing centers.
The GMAT CAT is out of a total of 800 points and the student will have 75 minutes for 37 quantitative questions, 75 minutes for 41 verbal questions, and 30 minutes for each of the two analytical writing topics. Data sufficiency and problem solving questions will be mingled within the quantitative section, sentence completion, reading comprehension, and critical reasoning questions will be mingled within the verbal section.
